Neom is a Saudi city being built in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. It is planned to incorporate smart city technologies and to function as a tourist destination. The site is north of the Red Sea, east of Egypt across the Gulf of Aqaba, and south of Jordan.
Riyadh Cables was product to be part of such Mega project by delivering wire & cables (LV, MV, HV & EHV) from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Riyadh.
RIYADH METRO
Landmark metro will help revolutionize transport in the region
The Riyadh Metro is a rapid transit system under construction in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. It will consist of six metro lines spanning a total length of 176 kilometers, with 85 stations. The project will cost $22.5 billion to build. It is expected to open to passengers in 2023.

CLOCK TOWER
The biggest tower clock in the world
The idea of implementing the central skyscraper of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project in Mecca as the tallest clock tower in the world came about during the building of a group of seven hotel towers at the gate to the Great Mosque. The construction calculations for the towers had already been completed when, in late 2006, SL Rasch was asked to design the huge clock add-on. The specification: the tower top was to weigh no more than 82,000 tons.

Ras Al Khair Combined Cycle Power & Desalination
Located in the Ras Al Khair Industrial City
The project comprises a combined cycle co-generation power plant (Phase-1) having five(5) Blocks of combined cycle Units, each block in 2 GTG+2HRSG+1 STG configuration and One block of Simple cycle with 2 GTG units, with a plant capacity of 2,700MW of which 1,350 MW will be supplied to Ma’aden Aluminum Complex.
KING ABDULAZIZ INTL. AIRPORT
KAIA is the hub of the Muslim’s world, as well as the main western gateway to/from many countries.
KAIA is the first international airport in Saudi Arabia, which opened in 1981. The total size of the KAIA airport is approximately 105 square km. The airport consists of the Royal Terminal, the Southern Terminal, the Northern Terminal, Hajj Terminal, as well as the Private aviation.
In 2019, a new airport named Terminal (1) opened. The brand new airport was built on 810 square km with an annual and initial capacity of 30 million passengers
KING ABDULLAH FINANCIAL DISTRICT (KAFD)
The largest project in the world seeking green building accreditation
The project consists of 59 towers in an area of 1.6 million square meters. It will provide more than 3 million square meters of space for various uses, 62,000 parking spaces and accommodation for 12,000 residents. In 2011, it was the largest project in the world seeking green building accreditation
JAMARAT PROJECT
Jamarat Bridge is geared up to receive more than 300,000 pilgrims per hour
In preparation for the annual pilgrimage of Hajj, the Jamarat Bridge is geared up to receive more than 300,000 pilgrims per hour. The bridge enables pilgrims to perform the ritual of stoning at three Jamarat pillars in a smooth and hassle-free manner. Stoning pebbles at the Jamarat is the most repeated ritual of Hajj.
KNOWLEDGE ECONOMIC CITY
Knowledge City Hub will consist of a mall, and commercial, residential and entertainment services
As well as a 325-room 5-star hotel that will be managed by Hilton.
Construction is scheduled to start in August and to be completed by the end of 2023, except for the hotel, which should be finished by May 2024.
Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA)
Diriyah, a SAR 64 billion development project, is a 7 km2 mixed-use historic, culture and lifestyle destination.
Diriyah will become the Kingdom’s historic and cultural heart, proudly showcasing to the world Saudi Arabia’s 300+ years of history through an engaging and inspiring set of heritage, hospitality, education, retail and dining experiences for residents, tourists and frequent visitors. It will contain international hospital and more than 100 restaurants and the projected papulation more than 100,000.

KING Faisal Air Academy - AL MAJMA’A
The Academic Wing land use area in King Faisal Air Academy consists of those functions directly related to or directly supporting the academic and educational life of the cadet.
The Academic Wing Area is located between the Administration Area and the Cadet Wing within the central core of the Academy, Allowing easy from administration and cadets.
The entire Academic Wing area will be fenced with a secured fence, with access only allowed for authorized personnel through dedicated Academic Wing access gates.
King Salman Park Foundation
King Salman Park is built on more than 16km2 to become the largest urban park in the world offering a wide range of options and quality activities for the city's residents and visitors.
It will include vast open green spaces covering more than 11.6km2, one million trees, in addition to the Royal Arts Complex, the National Theater, a 7.2km pedestrian walkway (loop), and a “valley” area in the middle of the park surrounded with art and water features. The Park will contribute significantly to increasing the vegetation in the region and raising the rate of per capita green spaces, which will have a direct and positive impact on the quality of the environment and the climate.

The Sports Boulevard will encourage the citizens of Riyadh to follow a healthy lifestyle exercising and participating in different sports, particularly, walking, cycling and horse riding.
A rich cultural, environmental, and recreational ambience will be created by events and activities, which are aligned with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
SHOAIBA PROJECT
The largest fossil fuel-fired power stations in the world
After completing the third stage the power station consists of 14 units with a total capacity of 5,600 MW, which makes it one of the largest fossil fuel-fired power stations in the world. The last expansion was built by Alstom and is operational since 2012.[2] The oil for power production is supplied from Saudi Aramco by tankers.
FADHILI SUBSTATION
The Al Fadhili Substation project is a new substation being operated by Saudi Electricity
Al Fadhili Substation is a 380kV substation located in Al Fadhili, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The construction works on Al Fadhili Substation began in 2017. The project was commissioned in 2019.
JAZAN REFINERY
The Jazan Economic City Project is part of a strategy to nurture non-oil based industries
Construction of the refinery and terminal started in 2014. When completed in late 2016, the refinery will have the capacity to process 400,000 bpd of Arabian Heavy and Arabian Medium crude oil, as well as producing 80,000 bpd of gasoline, 250,000 bpd of ultra-low sulfur diesel and over 1 million tons per year of benzene and paraxylene products.
FAISALIAH TOWER
The Al Faisaliyah Centre is a commercial skyscraper and mixed-use complex
This tower is 267 meters high with 55 stories and is famous for being the first skyscraper to be built in Saudi Arabia.
Shaped like an elongated pyramid, the building looks futuristic, especially at night as it stands out from afar. The tower is famous for the enormous glass globe that is located near the apex. The globe is 24 meters in diameter and is made of 655 glass panels.
